Harris tweed artist Ruth Morris in her Pitlochry Studio, which was open to the public this weekend for the Perthshire open Studios event, which runs until Sunday.  Ruth said: “This is my second year to open my studio having relocated from Edinburgh 6 years ago.  I’ve been involved in designing and making Harris tweed clothing, home-ware and accessories since 1999.  This year I have created for the open studios event a few new pieces, including a Harris tweed tie with a twist and turned my hand to using sea gifts washed up on the Kenmore side of Loch Tay to create driftwood hangings.”
