Sewing workshops Spring/Summer Term 2018

Workshops, day and evening classes popping up all over the place with Roobedo!
Join me for an uplifting, upcycling sewing class in one of the following fantastic venues.

Sewing classes this Spring with Roobedo

Saturday 26th May, Pitlochry
‘Print and sew all day’ 10am – 4pm
with Pitlochry & District AEA, 23 Atholl Road in Pitlochry £25
This workshop with Ciara Gibson’s Make Space and Ruth’s Roobedo will re-use and recycle and create something new from old whilst learning great skills along the way.  You will be printing with hand carved stamps and found objects then cutting and sewing a selection of triangle purses.

Saturday 2nd June, Crieff 10am – 1pm
‘Make a messenger bag’
at Remake in Crieff £25
Remake Scotland is a creative recycle, re-use and education membership charity run by a committee of volunteer Trustees and set up to benefit children & young adults.  Make sure you have time to visit the scrapstore afterwards! More info to follow (Half day 10am-1pm)

6 week Day Class from Mon 21st May, Birnam by Dunkeld
‘Skirts’ £50
Monday afternoons 1-3pm in Birnam Arts Studio with the Climate cafe.  Draft a skirt pattern to fit and learn how to adapt your pattern into a simple style then cut and sew your very own skirt from recycled fabrics, learning how to insert a zip and about seam types, waistbands and linings.
