Description
Harris tweed scraps selected, cut and stitched into a band of colour. The colours of red clover, yellow buttercup, silverweed, shoreline, sea and sky are framed between bands of sky blue. A small cushion 30cm square to brighten up a corner – makes a lovely gift. PAD INCLUDED.
Inspired by my photographs of Machair. This is the name given to one of the rarest habitats in Europe which only occurs on exposed western coasts of Scotland and Ireland. Up to 40 Western Isles plant species can be found within a square metre. It is truly a sight to be seen to be believed!
