TWEED AND FLOWERS
Scottish Textiles inspired by the wilds of Scotland

Textile Artist/Designer Ruth Morris will be setting up shop for a day at Ladybank Station, in the studio of flower painter Kirsty Lorenz.  It’s a wonderful opportunity to browse some stunning Scottish Textiles.
Both artists are inspired by the landscape of the Outer Hebrides.  Kirsty has created new work inspired by wild flowers on the Machair, the land between land and seashore, while Ruth works with Hebridean tweeds to create beautiful clothing and homewares.
For their first collaboration Ruth has created a selection of items made from fabrics specially printed with Kirsty’s artwork, including scatter cushions, bags and strings of bunting.
This one day event will run on 1st March, from 10.30am – 5pm, at Ladybank Railway Station, Victoria Street, Fife.  To find out more visit roobedo.com.
