Monday nights in June, 7-9pm with Climate Cafe Birnam (FREE)
at https://www.birnamarts.com/whats-on-events-at-birnam-arts/
4 evenings of simple sewing projects for you and your home to help replace the need for some single use items currently in use.
Items will include coffee-sack scrubbers, reusable face pads, cloth bowl covers, produce cloth bags etc.
Each evening you will be shown how to make an item to take home and use, to start conversations in the home and with friends about the need to reduce waste and encourage a change in our habits to start reusing more. This will be a slow paced evening, with cups of tea and plenty time to chat – the bonus being that you get to take away a stash of finished items you have made, to use and share.
All materials provided, recycled as much as possible and donated by TLC Laundry, Fishers Laundry, Glenlyon Coffee Roasters.
