Dundee Fashion Week ends in style

I had a great night in Dundee opening the finale catwalk show in the very first Dundee Fashion Week with 18 outfits, and the models walked to magical music by the celebrated musician Martyn Bennett.  My models hair was adorned with feathers and driftwood and the models wore shell necklaces – all foraged on my many beach-combing days.  On show was fleece layers in organic cotton with hand screen-prints and stylish coats with a twist plus a range of vintage favourites from previous collections.

The Dundee Evening Telegraph featured the full glory of the night in a fabulous 8 page pull-out article.

FABULOUS CATWALK FINALE
Dundee Fashion Week
May 14th, 2018, Evening Telegraph

…”AFTER a week of exciting style events, Dundee Fashion Week’s finale catwalk was a hit with fashionistas around the city.  The night was a huge success and in this picture special we share with you some of the best bits.

…The finale event held at the Caird Hall showcased a range of styles and designs that left the audience in awe – and the talents of designers who come from around Dundee did not go unnoticed.
Students from Dundee and Angus College were able to put their own designs under the bright lights too exhibiting their dress, bag, skirt and hat collections.  Hopefully this is just the start of a fantastic annual event in the City of Discovery.”
